TAT ® ~ Tapas Acupressure Technique
Dr. Michael G Millett as a trainer and Director with the AMT (Association For Meridian Therapies) shares the celebration of Love by delivering inner peace, relaxation, more vibrant health and empowerment through introducing the use of another one of the MET`s or `energy psychotherapies` (TAT ®) which was included in the AMT`s certification programme at one time.
TAT was developed in 1993 by Tapas Fleming, a Licensed Acupuncturist in California. She was doing allergy work when she came up with a wonderful new way to help her patients end allergic reactions and traumatic stress.
Over the years, Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT) has been used hundreds of thousands of times by individuals world-wide to achieve their goals of better health and greater happiness and you too can know more about TAT at Elevated Therapy International from Michael.
“A person doesn’t have to have vision of what happened in order to use TAT. The TAT procedure, along with your focus on the trauma, creates a connection between the cell’s memory and your function of vision.
The TAT procedure (pose) itself generates energy in your brain’s vision centres.
When you review the trauma, it becomes physically, mentally and emotionally integrated within moments.”
TAT`s basic theory is this: a trauma is a stuck moment that keeps causing stress.
Saying ‘No’ in that original moment creates a tension because it really did happen and some part of you is still telling it ‘No!’. In that moment of trauma, some part of you felt “I can’t survive if this happens to me.” So you said ‘No’ to it. This creates a duality and is called a yin-yang imbalance in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This means that you create “I’m over here and I’m keeping that trauma over there, away from me.” Very stressful because the trauma isn’t over there, it’s really part of you and stresses your system by continually trying to hold off the experience of the trauma……….when you use a thought in an attempt to deny reality it creates negative energy patterns that impact your life and health by causing your energy to stagnate.
In short, TAT is good for ending stress, especially traumatic stress, freeing a person of allergic reactions, gaining self-confidence and a positive outlook on life, and attaining empowerment. Indeed, there are many ways to describe the results of TAT.
Integration, harmony, peace, unity, connectedness, relatedness, oneness and wholeness are a few of the terms people have used to express how they feel after a TAT session.
TAT eliminates emotional pain, distorted beliefs, and physical symptoms effortlessly.
TAT affects many levels of healing all at once – body, mind, and soul. It is highly effective in healing allergies and past traumas.
TAT brings up and clears traumatic memories from the stored places in the body and mind and life experiences with extraordinary ease.
TAT creates an internal space of peace through working with forgiveness if appropriate and helpful.
TAT changes the energetic relationship to internal and external stimuli.
TAT eliminates symptoms without conscious awareness of what is being cleared.
I liken this technique to a form of meditation. By simply placing your fingers on a few facial/head points, you stay in this pose for a few minutes and allow healing to happen.
