Your Trainer: Dr. Michael G Millett

You will be personally trained by Dr. Michael G Millett, the founder of Elevated Therapy and the first therapist in the UK and Ireland back in 1995 to be using these techniques (power therapies). Michael is an experienced trainer, coach and therapist and he aims to give you a life-changing learning experience, while making sure you have fun, in a safe and comfortable environment. This a cutting edge course professionally designed by Michael and the Association of Meridian Energy Therapy to have huge positive impact in your life and your clients` with maximum enjoyment. 

This 2-day Approved EFT Course meets the training criteria (EFT Level 2) recommended by Gary Craig, the developer of EFT. So you can be assured the information you receive are true EFT concepts and techniques. However, Completion of a Level 1 workshop is a pre-requisite for EFT Level 2 Certification. It is NOT a pre-requisite for the MET Practitioner Certification. You can still do this course without the EFT Level 2 as this course is about more than EFT as it is a MET Level 3 Training. In 1998, a dedicated group of experienced therapists and trainers came together to create a set of trainings that would go beyond the confines of any one existing Meridian Energy Therapy system and teach the principles of theory and practice in the entire field in such a way that it would encompass all the many techniques. 
Well, here it is... 

The main objective behind the training design is to enable practitioners to understand and use meridian energy therapies in their totality, above and beyond each of the many individual techniques - those existing now and those still to be developed in the future. 

AMT recognised trainings have since been taken by many hundreds of therapists and health workers from Europe and all around the World and are universally accepted for the thorough, cross-contextual grounding they provide in the emerging field of Meridian Energy Therapies, which includes Energy Psychology as one of it's components. 

This certificated practitioner training provided by Michael Millett (an AMT Director and Licensed Trainer) will enable you to use Meridian Energy Therapy (MET) for yourself and others. It will include the use of EFT, and you will explore other variations of Meridian Therapy and how to use them. Therapists and Counsellors will discover powerful new approaches to working with clients. Michael Millett is one of the few recognised trainers of Meridian Therapies in the UK. He is also a qualified psychotherapist, counsellor, hypnotherapist, practitioner of NLP, healer and metaphysician and member of several Professional Bodies in the UK and USA. 
Trainees frequently remark on his warm, informal yet well-structured style of training, making complex subjects easy and enjoyable to absorb. 

Training Contents

The Practitioner Certification training pre-supposes at the minimum a working knowledge of EFT from the participants. 
To this end, Michael offers introductory trainings and a 3 HOUR WORKSHOP and a FULL DAY WORKSHOP for small groups of health workers or individuals 1+1 who are not yet familiar with the field, sometimes in conjunction with and before the start of a Practitioner Training. 

Barbara and Rebecca came all the way from Portugal for my Meridian Energy Therapy Training here in London in March, 2009. The EFT Full Day Workshop followed by the two days MET Practitioner Training. They are both psychotherapists in the Algarve in Portugal.

This outstanding licensed training with Dr. Millett over two days and divided into 8 modules consists of three interactive components that together create the understanding and competence necessary to conduct professional interventions, with an absolute focus on training a practitioner who will support others in a safe, cohesive, ethical and effective manner.

In this intensive 2-day course you will learn how to apply EFT / MET for more complex issues and in clinical practice, including:

• Developing observation and listening skills to identify where a client’s issues truly lie
• How to map out aspects and find core issues
• How to work successfully and safely with painful and traumatic memories
• How to discover and release the emotional roots of health and physical issues

The main topics covered in the Elevated Therapy and AMT MET 8 Module Practitioner Certification Training are as follows:

The training contents are standardized to ensure a cohesive quality of training and yet of course, allow room for Michael`s individuality, to add his own uniqueness and extras to the trainings and to allow the flexibility to respond to the trainee / trainees on the day in the most supportive fashion. On this particular course Michael introduces as extras the following: Working With Children, Animal EFT and The RIGAAR Model for Structuring Sessions which are not part of the set AMT syllabus.

Venue: Willesden, NW London by appointment any two days of the week except for Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays. (One-On-One Tuition) in a tranquil home setting, or in small groups. 

Cost:  The cost for the two day training is £540 for one person or £265 each if two are attending or £220 each if three are attending if you wish to arrange to bring a couple of friends or colleagues. 
There is an additional fee of £50 (non-refundable) to be added to the above prices per person for marking the written paper and for certification from the AMT if opted for and if indeed successful. Successful canditates will be listed in the "Practitioner Listings" on the AMT web site.

This certification is only available to existing therapists, coaches, medical people and healers who are in possession of full practice insurance. Interested parties who do not fulfill these requirements may take the training and have their certification delayed to a future date when these requirements are met.

The training days can be taken at different times and apply only to qualified health, healing and therapy practitioners with current practice insurance. For those out of London or the UK, Michael can also supply hotel details based near him or in Wembley which is close by. 
The day runs from 10.00am to 5.00pm approx at Michael`s home with an hour or so for lunch. He supplies light beverages, biscuits and savouries etc. during the day. There is a park (Roundwood Park) with a recommended cafeteria close by and a supermarket a few minutes away. Trainees may also consider bringing a lunch with them particularly if they have special dietary requirements. In good weather, trainees are welcome to take their lunch and breaks in Michael`s downstairs `cobbled garden`. 
Delegates can split the two training days - return home within the UK or do some sight-seeing in London or England if from further afield and return a couple of days or a week or so later for completion of the training if they so wish. 

Certification and Qualification

Those wishing to be certified as a Licensed Practitioner Of Meridian Energy Therapies with the Association for Meridian Therapies can agree to continuous assessment throughout the training by Michael, and complete an open book certification paper within one month of the end of the course. The certification paper includes the requirement for trainees to complete a full practical case study in their own time. 
Certified and qualified practitioners have the right to use the letters C.P. AMT which stands for Certified Practitioner of Meridian Energy Therapies through The Association for Meridian Energy Therapies. Although this certification does not in and of itself convey license to practice counselling or psychotherapy, it is recognised to qualify an existing practitioner for additional practice insurance to cover Meridian Energy Therapies.

This Elevated Therapy Practitioner Training is designed to provide a thorough grounding in the basic principles of the developing field of Meridian Energy Therapies and to prepare the practitioner to practice these unique forms of mind-body treatments with confidence and excellent success. 

It is highly recommended that this training be taken for it brings together the underlying principles of Meridian Energy Therapies and is the first step towards true mastery of not just one technique, but the entire field and all its rich and varied individual contributions. 

AN ELEVATED THERAPY ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE AND AN EFT CERTIFICATE Level 2
will be given to all trainees regardless of opting for AMT practitioner certification or indeed successful with the certification. This is often appreciated by the participants. Participants completing this course will also receive the official EFT Level 2 certificate of completion if the trainee has completed a prior EFT Level 1 training.. The AMT Certificate is separate and given if the trainee agrees to continuous assessment throughout the training by Michael, and completes an open book certification paper within one month of the end of the course. .

The certification fee for a new practitioner as previously mentioned is £50 GB which includes the practitioner license and full AMT Membership for one year. Please note that the practitioner agreement is a *commercial license* to use the AMT title, mark and logo for the time period in question, NOT a license to practice psychology etc. or start your therapy career from.

The Training Design

This outstanding licensed training over two days and divided into 8 modules consists of three interactive components that together create the understanding and competence necessary to conduct professional interventions, with an absolute focus on training a practitioner who will support others in a safe, cohesive, ethical and effective manner. 

These interactive components are as follows: 

1. The instruction, materials and information presented by Michael in the correct order and sequence and including unique, custom-made protocols for addiction treatments, memory retrieval, safety with clients and health issues. 

2. The exercises that are designed to install the understandings received through the information presented and to bridge these understandings into practical action and congruent knowledge and ability. 

3. The Certification paper, which brings a full review of the material covered in the training as well as taking the training from the learning environment and connecting it firmly to the actual practical environment of the practitioner through carefully designed questions and a client case history.

A 50% deposit will need to be made once the 2 appointment days have been finalized and the balance is payable at the end of the training.
The deposit and complete payment can be made by cash, a cheque with a bankers card and by credit or debit card which can be done on the phone with your credit or debit card when making the appointment (all major cards accepted) or UK residents can arrange to send a deposit cheque before the training.
